PURPOSE
OF THE SPEAKERS BUREAU
The
NORVA Speakers Bureau is an educational resource offered as a free
service to the community. Returned Volunteers are available to present
a wide variety of unique and interesting programs to members of
clubs, civic organizations, churches, businesses and schools.
Peace
Corps Volunteers benefit from their intense living experiences in
the countries where they serve. Returned Volunteers can provide
groups with unique insights into many different cultures.
Speakers
often provide their own slides, videos and exhibit selected artifacts
representative of the countries of their experience.

HOW TO BECOME A SPEAKER
The NORVA Speakers Bureau is in need of a large number of RPCV's
living throughout Northern Ohio. If you are recently returned
or have been home for longer than you can remember, we would love
to include you in our pool of speakers. It is entirely voluntary.
This is your opportunity to help bring the world back home. NORVA
serves the geographic area from Wooster to Lake Erie and from
the eastern border of Ohio to the western border. We receive requests
from schools, religious organizations, business and civic organizations
from all over the NORVA region.
If you are willing to share your experience just email us at rpcv@googlegroups.com
with your inquiry. Please include your name, mailing address and
telephone number. That is all there is to it. We will then contact
you. Although we would love to have you as a member of NORVA,
it is not a requirement to be a part of the NORVA Speakers Bureau.
